Geocortex Picnic at the ESRI International User Conference

Back by popular demand, the free Geocortex Picnic, held Wednesday, August 6th, 12PM-2PM at the 2008 ESRI International User Conference is in its final planning stages. We host this annual picnic for clients and select guests so everyone can socialize, get some sunshine, and avoid 13,000 other people hunting for lunch over ten square city blocks. We had about 250 folks join us last year, and we're pretty sure everyone had a great time.You can meet other Geocortex clients and our account management team, eat some great food (that BBQ chicken from last year isn’t going anywhere!), and have some fun. Take part in a variety of optional activities including volleyball, frisbee, and bocce ball. Check out some photos from last year’s picnic:

Join us for the Fourth Annual Geocortex Picnic Lunch at the 2008 ESRIInternational User Conference

What can we say about last year’s Geocortex Picnic? With perfect weather, remarkable food, and a great view of the San Diego harbor, our little BBQ lunch date made a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the conference floor. Why mess with success? Due to popular demand, our picnic is back (and better).

Join us for a hosted lunchtime picnic on Wednesday, August 6th, 12PM-2PM at Embarcadero Marina Park South, which is immediately behind the conference center. (click here to see a map)
You can meet other IMF/Geocortex clients, eat some great food (we're still menu planning with the caterer, but trust us, that BBQ chicken from last year isn’t going anywhere!), and have some fun. It's free for you, but not for us, so please RSVP at your earliest convenience so we can give the caterer some approximate numbers. Last year, we experienced some lineups down at the picnic registration table, so to speed through, swing by our booth (#1521) prior to the picnic to pick up your Geocortex Picnic sticker.

Camping: Redwood National and State Parks offer four developed campgrounds, three in the redwood forest and one on the ocean. Tidbits to know: no trailer hook-ups exist; there is a charge for each extra vehicle per site; and day use fees are charged.

All campgrounds are California state park campgrounds operated by the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
